GERMANY (BMEL) AT WINE & SPIRITS 2015 AND 2016 HONG KONG

In 2015 the Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair took place for the 8th time. The Wine & Spirits is a major trade show for South East Asia and with its annual cycle constitutes an important constant. 1,065 exhibitors took part in 2015 with 898 from overseas. 50,394 visitors were counted.

The German Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) first took part in 2010 and has since then been a regular participant together with numerous exhibitors, who join under the ministry’s umbrella.

The gtp2 design concept consists of a cloud of green branches, which are inspired by the typical vines of a vineyard, floating over a building block base clad in slate stonework, reflecting Germany’s characteristically steep sloping vineyards with their retaining walls.
