Grüne Woche 2024: Focus on sustainability

“Agriculture makes good food: Sustainable!” – BMEL in Hall 23a

In our Hall 23a, there was a varied and interactive program on the BMEL’s thematic areas: various theme islands dealt with good nutrition, biodiversity and climate protection, fisheries, rural regions and regional value creation, sustainable animal husbandry as well as agriculture and the right to food worldwide.

275,000 visitors met politicians and the industry

Around 275,000 visitors came to Grüne Woche 2024, with Messe Berlin welcoming prominent politicians such as Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz and eight federal ministers. For ten days, the Green Week made the Berlin exhibition grounds the number one platform for dialog between politicians and the industry.

Visitors can look forward to the promotion of regional and seasonal products and learn about innovative measures for environmentally friendly food packaging. Organic farming methods and fair trade will also be presented, as well as sustainable agricultural projects from around the world. Workshops and lectures on the topics of climate change and biodiversity in agriculture will round off the exciting program. The Grüne Woche Berlin 2024 is an important step towards a sustainable future.
